The Recovery Community: Services
recovery is about more than abstinence, it's about building a life filled with purpose, connection and enjoyment.
Our programmes combine movement, creativity and community to support long-term recovery, improve wellbeing and reduce social isolation.
Six-Week Recovery Bouldering Course
Recovery Bouldering is a six-week course for autistic and ADHD adults in recovery from substance use. Designed for complete beginners and experienced climbers alike, the programme combines professionally instructed bouldering with peer support in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment. Climbing encourages problem solving, resilience and confidence while helping participants build healthy routines and meaningful social connections. Each session includes a relaxed opportunity to meet others in recovery and become part of a supportive community. Our aim is to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and show that recovery can be active, enjoyable and built through shared experiences and lasting friendships.

Recovery Bouldering Drop-in Sessions
Recovery Bouldering Drop in is a weekly climbing session for adults in recovery from substance use who want to stay active, connected and supported. Open to both new and existing members, these relaxed sessions provide an opportunity to climb at your own pace while building confidence, friendships and healthy routines. A Recovery Community host is always present to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. More than just a climbing session, our drop-ins help reduce isolation, strengthen recovery and encourage long-term community connections. As the community grows, members can progress into volunteering and paid peer facilitator opportunities.

Recovery Yoga
Recovery Yoga will be a gentle daily class for autistic and ADHD adults in recovery from substance use. Suitable for all abilities, our sessions will combine movement, breath work and relaxation to support both physical and mental wellbeing. Yoga can help reduce stress, regulate the nervous system, improve flexibility and build healthy daily routines that support long-term recovery. It is also a great way to warm up for the Bouldering Drop ins. More than an exercise class, Recovery Yoga will provide a welcoming space to connect with others, reduce isolation and become part of a supportive community. Whether you're completely new to yoga or have practised before, everyone will be welcome to join at their own pace.
Recovery Improv
Recovery Improv will be a weekly workshop for autistic and ADHD adults in recovery from substance use. Through fun, beginner-friendly improvisation games and exercises, participants will build confidence, communication skills and meaningful social connections in a supportive, judgement-free environment. No acting experience is needed—just a willingness to try something new. Improv encourages creativity, laughter and resilience while helping reduce social anxiety and isolation. Our workshops will provide a safe space to express yourself, meet others in recovery and discover the joy of play without alcohol or drugs. Together, we build confidence, community and a more fulfilling life in recovery.
Recovery Socials: Documentary Cinema
Recovery Socials: Documentary Cinema will be a weekly social for autistic and ADHD adults in recovery from substance use. Join us for a relaxed trip to the cinema to watch a wide range of cutting edge documentaries covering a variety of topics. There is no pressure to socialise, whether you prefer quiet company or lively conversation, everyone is welcome.
