A new route to recovery

No one should have to climb it alone

Traditional recovery services don't work for everyone. Many neurodivergent adults experience social isolation, anxiety and difficulty engaging with conventional recovery programmes.

The Recovery Community offers an alternative approach by bringing people together through shared activities that promote wellbeing, confidence and lasting recovery.

Our vision is to create a community where people don't simply receive support—they become part of it.

As members grow in confidence, they can volunteer, develop new skills and, where appropriate, progress into paid peer facilitator roles, helping to support others beginning their own recovery journey.

What We Stand for

At The Recovery Community we believe recovery is about more than stopping alcohol or drugs, it's about creating a life that feels meaningful, connected and enjoyable.

Our programmes include Recovery Bouldering, Recovery Yoga, Recovery Improv and Recovery Cinema, providing opportunities to improve physical and mental wellbeing while building genuine friendships and a sense of belonging.
